Another busy day in the BushChang Household. We started off the morning with brunch at the home of Larry and Sue Tseng. With three kids running around, Christine and I got a good taste of what our future holds for us.
Katherine is growing like a weed. Today, Christine and I noticed that she is becoming very aware of herself, hands, and legs. We bought her a mirror which she just loves. She watches herself in the mirror and smiles. She also has started sucking on her hand and consciously placing in in her mouth. It’s very interesting as parents as we’re noticing she’s become more aware of her surroundings. Loud noises used to not bother her but they do now if she’s not in a deep sleep.
We’re also learning the cues she gives us. There is a definite cry for a wet diaper and another cry for I’m too tired to fall asleep without you holding me for a while. She’s also starting to show personality and have more wake periods between feedings. She’s starting to get more interesting…
