The girls and I visited to find a new Golden Retriever puppy. Wayne introduced us to the litter of puppies. Eventually, we would decide on Rosebud who was wearing the pink ribbon collar.

Allison’s Violin Recital

Seattle Dog Show
The family visited the Seattle Dog Show to research the right breed for our next dog. We walked up and down the aisles asking questions about each breed. We also watched some Goldens compete in conformance and a bunch of dogs compete in Agility. Dad liked the Agility the best. One of the lowlights for the agility competition was when a dog went to the bathroom on the course. The next dog was doing great until he reached the affected spot and got distracted. We also watched a police officer give a talk on canine units. It was really interesting to learn how they train German Shepherds as police dogs.
On the car ride home, Christine asked everyone to rank the dogs they liked best. Everyone said, 1) Golden; 2) Golden; 3) Golden. I guess we’re going to get a Golden next, maybe a female this time.
